Scope Of Work
The St. David’s Medical Center Endoscopy unit was the first in Austin to be recognized for quality and safety by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. With this recognition came a need for more space to support the unit’s services.
The Owner selected Vaughn as the general contractor for the conversion of an existing Gamma Knife procedure room into an Omega Medical Imaging room. The project involved the build out of two additional endoscopy procedure rooms and three recovery areas, along with a scope wash room, soiled and clean utility rooms, waiting area, office space, restrooms, and work stations. The newly renovated suite provides St. David’s Medical Center with the space necessary to continue providing -winning service to its patients.
