The Owners and Officers of OKJ Construction are Martha F. Morris- President, Project Manager and Accounting/Office Manager, Jeffrey Bunch - Corporate Secretary and Superintendent / Estimator along with Alan Harris - Vice-President and Superintendent / Estimator. These individuals have worked together as a team for O.K. James Construction, Inc., previously located in Williamsburg, Virginia ranging from five to twenty-five years.

In December 2005, O. Kent James, President of O.K. James Construction, Inc. announced his retirement. These three individuals made a commitment to continue with the same concept as O.K. James Construction, Inc; to provide quality construction services for renovation and new construction projects to include negotiated, design-build and firm, fixed-price contracts ranging from $10,000 to $10,000,000 in the Tidewater, Virginia area.

During the teams’ employment with O.K. James Construction, Inc. we performed a variety of work, ranging in size from $100,000 to $35,000,000. This included renovation, as well as new construction of churches, schools, college dormitories, hospitals, office buildings, luxury town homes, condominiums, extended stay hotels, motels, recreational facilities, restaurants and projects of varied scope for all branches of the Federal Government. This work was awarded as traditional bid, negotiated and/or design/build. OKJ Construction Company is following this precedence.

OKJ Construction Company is an active member of the Peninsula District of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia, Inc. and has had 15+ years of representation on the Peninsula Executive Board.

In summation, although OKJ Construction Company may be a "new entity" in terms of length of incorporation; it's Owner’s and staff have worked together as a team for over twenty years and have a firm foundation and proven track record that insures that we will exceed the requirements of your construction needs.
