Scope Of Work
Gettysburg Area School District selected Quandel Construction Group to be their Construction Manager and oversee the construction of their new Middle School, which contains 34 classrooms, a 900-seat auditorium, gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium, locker rooms, cafeteria with food court, kitchen, media center, Tech Ed room and lab, Family Consumer Sciences, band, orchestra and choral rooms as well as an Administration Area.
The new, two-story, 187,000 square foot Middle School was built adjacent to the existing middle school and accommodates approximately 660 middle school students.
Construction was completed for the start of the 2014 school year. This was Quandel’s 8th consecutive assignment for this District!
