Scope Of Work
Erickson has maintained a service and maintenance contract with PECO for over 40 years. Over the past 10 years Erickson acted as Construction Manager for a major Headquarters Renovation and LEED Conversion at PECO’s Main Office Building, along with working at multiple regional PECO facilities that provide utility services throughout Pennsylvania.
PECO embarked on a renovation program aimed at achieving LEED EBOM certification which consisted of extensive MEP and associated infrastructure renovations to their 600,000 square foot Corporate Headquarters & Operations Center.
The award-winning Green Roof project launched PECO’s LEED Certification efforts, and sprawls 48,000 square feet.
The crown lights, situated atop PECO’s 27-floor corporate tower, stand forty feet tall and contain more than two million energy-efficient LEDs (light-emitting diodes), replacing the older incandescent spot lights.
