Scope Of Work

Building an office space for a government agency comes with its own unique set of challenges. It must meet the federal government’s mandated criteria for anti-terrorism protection and energy efficiency, while staying within an ever-tightening budget. Concrete tilt-up  was our solution. The exterior of this building is made of 12” thick blast-proof concrete walls and shatter resistant windows; the interior meets the Gold Level of LEED Certification for CommercialInteriors. And by collaborating with KEE Architecture, we did not have to sacrifice style. The exterior wall panels showcase our signature sandblasted white concrete, highlighted by alternating courses of smooth and textured modular brick masonry. The interior features a polished concrete lobby floor and an open steel staircase with polished concrete treads.
