Scope Of Work
Blackhawk Church Fitchburg is the very first concrete tilt-up church in Wisconsin. It was a “leap of faith” for the church to trust Newcomb and the architect to use tilt-up as the construction method for such a visible and public building. The design features repurposed limestone from the historic barn that once sat on the site. It was used to accentuate interior spaces such as the 600-person auditorium, cozy gathering space, and cheerful children’s ministry.
