Scope Of Work
Astro Engineering & Manufacturing fabricated the perforated aluminum balcony railings for Cross Hill Drive Apartments.
The owner wanted a custom size perforation hole of 2” round in a stacked pattern, with no border. Through collaboration with the architect, we accommodated the custom size for specified visibility through the railing. Astro welded the 1/8” aluminum sheeting on street side of railing to meet Wisconsin state code, and within budget for owner. We also custom designed the mounting plates to accommodate the construction design of the balcony floors.
Astro delivered the railings before due date to help the general contractor improve or exceed their schedule. We have had no fit-up issues with the complex sizes of railing for buildings. Both Owner and Architect have complemented Astro Engineering on craftsmanship, design, & finish.
