Scope Of Work
The Dr. Beverly S. Mathis Elementary School project, built for the Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 100,500 square foot elementary school campus located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility, which opened in August 2017, houses a two-story classroom building, an administration building with offices, a multipurpose room, and kindergarten classrooms. The elementary school campus was constructed on a spread footing and slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a concrete masonry unit (CMU) block, steel, and joists structural frame, an exterior of CMU and glazing, and a single-ply roof. The project also features an outdoor basketball court, playground equipment, and artificial turf sports fields as well as shade structures, a bus drop-off area, and parking lots. The Dr. Beverly S. Mathis Elementary School project now eases district overcrowding by accommodating over 850 students in kindergarden through fifth grade.
