Scope Of Work
Garden Spot Village designed the Village Square Apartments to accommodate the growing demand for their community. The senior living apartment expansion required a very demanding 14-month schedule due to 52 units having been contracted with firm resident move-in dates.

- 153,000-square-foot expansion over 6 stories
- 72-unit senior living apartments
- A first of its kind in Lancaster County was the installation of 32 one-piece, clear-span, structural steel trusses allowing construction of a 54-vehicle underground garage without supporting transfer columns
- Horst coordinated the purchase and installation of customized interior amenities for the 72 apartments
- Significant coordination of subcontractors was required for job flow and to maximize performance in order to meet the demanding schedule
