Scope Of Work
Aristeo renovated the Michigan League Maizie’s Kitchen & Market for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. This all-new market is located within one of the most historical and high traffic buildings on campus: Michigan League. It provides students, faculty, staff, and the public with a modern new venue for eating, socializing, and studying.
As General Contractor on this 14,000 manhour project, Aristeo managed over 20 subcontractors and in-house self-perform demolition crews to create the new, 5,000 square foot food and retail establishment. For this project, Aristeo collaborated with the Owner and Architect to minimize disruption to other events conducted within the building, and to ensure the new space’s look and feel would seamlessly blend with the original historical design. This project was completed on budget and with zero recordable incidents, all in time for the start of the fall 2018 semester.
