Scope Of Work
The Aristeo team provided preconstruction and construction services for the new Mobis Technical Center in Plymouth, Michigan. This $7M facility for Mobis, a subsidiary of Hyundai, is a 100,000 SF single story high bay building that houses up to 450 engineers and has multiple research lab spaces.
Working closely with the end user and the project architect led to significant cost savings on finishes and also allowed areas to be completed ahead of schedule due to shorter procurement times for building specialty items.
The scope of the new center started with the complete removal of all walls, atriums, and mechanical and electrical systems back to the steel and precast frame. Aristeo built the new two story lobby and meeting rooms with high end finishes, along with glass wall offices and collaboration areas. A workout area, locker rooms, and new cafeteria were also part of the project. Our team added windows to existing precast walls and installed new HVAC, fire protection, fire alarm, and electrical power/ IT systems. The project was completed in eight months.
