Scope Of Work
This project consisted of a complete demolition of the old fire station and replacing it with a new 2 story station that would allow for 24 hour emergency service to the Seekonk area. The new station was needed to serve the town’s north end, and reduce emergency response time.
The town committee decided to go with a modular, prefabricated building to expand the fire station to allow for a favorable budget and construction schedule. Nadeau constructed the modular Fire sub-station consisting of a modular two-floor living quarters and an attached apparatus bay. We included a training facility for the firefighters on the ground level. After overcoming numerous challenges, Nadeau’s team was able to deliver the new station so the heroes that inhabit it could get back to better serving the townspeople and keeping the public safe.
