Scope Of Work
Project consisted of the successful installation 10658 LF of 54” ductile iron pipe for a new gravity sewer outfall. The depth of cut on the project ranged from 10’ to 24’ in depth and grade on the project was 0.05%. There were 5 aerial crossings installed with 54” flanged ductile iron pipe; the lengths of the aerial crossings were lengths of 111 LF, 121 LF, 140 LF, 150 LF and 335 LF. One thousand feet of the 54” gravity sewer was encased in concrete. A total of forty nine manholes that were ten feet in diameter were installed on the project. Five creeks were crossed on the project. A 24” ductile iron force main was installed on the project at a total length of 3300 LF. Two 84” bores were completed for the project with our tunnel boring machine. The first 84” bore was completed under Holloman Road at a total length of 60 LF. The second 84” bore was 320 LF in length, between two homes, at a shallow depth; we completed the bore with no settlement or damage to the homes and maintained a 0.05 grade with our tunnel boring machine.
