Scope Of Work
This branch bank is in an established retail block in an upscale community. As such, it had special requirements that made it different from the bank’s prototypical branches.
The relatively small site is the end of a commercial street, adjacent to public recreation fields. The building is set on the front lot line, extending the streetscape of the rest of the block. The drive thru function is tucked in behind the building, keeping the traffic away from the pedestrian environment.
The building is two stories, with retail banking functions on the ground floor and private banking on the second floor. The community dictated a traditional building style, in keeping with the rest of the . The street elevation is detailed with a cast limestone ground floor and brick upper story. The entry tower at turns the corner of the building, serving as a punctuation mark at the end of the block, and a landmark for traffic approaching the retail district.
