Scope Of Work
Pape-Dawson was the civil engineer for a 25-acre Valero Energy Corporation Data Center located in Westover Hills in San Antonio. We were responsible for site surveying; the design of redundant electrical and communication facilities to serve the site; the design of onsite sanitary sewer, domestic, and fire water systems; underground electric duct bank system; underground communications duct bank system; storm drain improvements to convey offsite stormwater runoff through the site; site grading; stormwater pollution abatement; and platting.
Pape-Dawson also prepared plans to subdivide the remaining portion of the 51.83-acre tract into two additional lots that Valero is marketing for sale. These lots are master planned to be data centers with redundant utilities and shared security.
