Scope Of Work

This project consisted of the construction of a new 66,000 sqft, three story magnet elementary school in South Windsor, CT. The project included extensive site work and utility work to develop a 14 acre, heavily wooded site. Cutter is provided pre-construction services, and complete oversight and management of the construction and closeout/warranty phases, along with commissioning services management. The site work includeed all new utility services to the building, new site improvements, and the earthwork for the installation of new reinforced concrete foundations. This project was awarded through a Best-Value RFP process and based on a previous experience with the client that resulted in a successful project. Cutter has been able to add the Capitol Region Education Council to our list of return clients by providing a very personal and user friendly service that results in intimate oversight of their projects. We enjoy a positive and collaborative working relationship with CREC and look forward to an early completion of the International Magnet School and future school work with the organization.
