Scope Of Work

The Heartland Rehabilitation Hospital built a new step-down recovery independent medical facility located in Overland Park, Kansas City. The facility is supplied with dozens of patient rooms, a nurses’ station, medical gas technology, a full-service kitchen, gymnasium and therapy pool.

The two-story medical building boasts a contemporary aesthetic with structural steel, metal stud construction, brick and natural stone exterior finishes. Since the building is located on a green field, all the sitework and mass rock excavations were included. VCC completed the project successfully on time while making extra efforts to complete key construction phases during the course of severely cold temperatures.
