Scope Of Work
rand* construction met many challenges in completing the new Washington Bureau of China Central Television located at 1100 13th Street. A strong CCTV logo sign peering through the glass entrance with stone tile flooring welcomes guests into the reception area.
The custom millwork lacquer door and conference room juxtapose open office space. The conference room hosts a glass facade, fabric panels and a floating ceiling, and is a quiet place away from the action of the TV studio to meet. The mechanical room connects to the small pantry and is equipped with an extremely large floor mounted supplemental unit, all contained by an acoustical door.
A cohesive team effort led to exceptional results – and a perfect place for CCTV’s overseas location. CCTV is now a repeat client of rand*.
