Scope Of Work
rand* construction provided a tenant fit-out for the American Dental Education Association while working with several stakeholders and exhibiting much flexibility in the project execution. Over a compressed 12-week schedule, the team worked with the architect, CM, and base building developer to turn over a complex space while meeting critical milestones. rand* had to manage the subcontractors with paramount detail in order to overcome several challenges – such as the lack of the building engineer on site – to ensure the space would be finished in time f or the association to move in
The scope of work included a complex A/V package which was introduced a month before turnover, which was overcome through the diligence of rand* and the electrical subcontractor. An elaborate millwork feature wall, multi-purpose spaces in the basement, and a complex Modernfold operable partition system were also included in the scope. Regardless of the multiple changes throughout the construction schedule. rand* was able to turnover the space by the contract completion date in September of 2014.
