Scope Of Work
Paying homage to the site which was originally a horse farm, the building uses traditional New England barn forms while using modern technology and materials
Oriented to take advantage of passive solar heating/cooling and daylighting, with almost all of the spaces filled with sunlight
Large meeting room is a “smart classroom” including wired podium allowing for connection of USB drives and laptops, dimmable lighting, control for the building announcement system, and smartboards
An Energy Management System (EMS) provides the building maintenance staff to monitor, control, and adjust all HVAC (along with plumbing and electrical if desired) systems from a central location
