Scope Of Work
This facility was built in 2000 for Philips CSI (which became Bosch). It consists of a two-story 66,000-square-foot corporate office building connected to a 146,000-square-foot manufacturing/distribution center via a glass corridor. High Construction was challenged to create a building that promotes communication and teamwork and reinforces Bosch's high-tech image. The building structure comprises a steel frame with a masonry and glass exterior envelope. The support system for the masonry includes steel studs, which are insulated to provide an effective thermal envelope. The facility has since been retrofitted for a new client, Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences.
