Scope Of Work
In 2004 the City of Grandview completed a concept plan for improvements to 9-blocks of Main Street from the existing downtown business district to 71 Highway. BHC RHODES led a team to prepare construction plans for road, drainage, mill & overlay, streetscape, landscaping, lighting, parking, and traffic signal enhancements, for the first four phases. BHC RHODES’ tasks included coordination with the public, downtown business owners, Historic Preservation Council, and City officials to develop plans to enhance the aesthetics and character of Main Street. The traffic signals at the Grandview Road intersection were replaced to upgrade equipment while matching the new pedestrian scale lighting.
