Scope Of Work
Dustin Construction was responsible for the construction of this new, five-story, 184,000 SF, 500 bed student housing complex at George Mason University’s Fairfax campus. The project was successfully completed in 21 months allowing for the students to move in on time. The residence hall offers fully-equipped 2 and 4 bedroom apartments as well as lounges and study rooms which may be used as teaching spaces. The building is also wired for data and telecommunications throughout. This cast-in-place concrete structure features a brick veneer façade and several attractive aluminum curtain walls.
This project also includes an 8,000 SF addition to and renovation of an existing community building, known as the Eisenhower building. The addition includes a new café, 50-seat multi-media room and various lounges and study rooms.
