Scope Of Work
With increasing enrollment and demand for on-campus housing, George Mason University teamed up with Dustin Construction and Sasaki Associates to design and construct this five-story, 504 bed residence hall. The 183,000 SF student housing complex also includes a parking area for 200 vehicles and a new area for the Office of Housing and Residence Life including offices, conference rooms, a reception area, and a kitchen. The building features 2- and 4-bedroom suites as well as study and laundry rooms on each floor.
Dustin Construction worked in conjunction with the Owner and the architect to complete this fast- track project in only 15 months, allowing for students to move in at the start of the fall 2004 semester.
