Scope Of Work
AR. Marani (ARM) started pricing the Sevem School Gym design in 2005, the initial price was over $12,0000,000, which was far too high for the school to afford. Working with the owner and CSD Architects we brought the price down to about $8,000,000, with a $1,000,000 altemate if the school found funding to fit out the ground floor. The site was surrounded by student activity; with athletic fields on two sides, an existing gym against the third side, and a main access road used by students and parents on the fourth side. All had to remain in operation and construction work had to be coordinated with day-to-day school activities.
