Inspection, Design and Construction Administration Services

The project included emergency shoring in garage areas and subsequent closing of those areas to eliminate imminent hazards to the building and tenants from garage column beam and slab deterioration. The building above with lower levels, below street grade containing a two level open air parking garage with the garage roof functioning as a third level containing additional parking and a recreational open space area. The garage area varies with the first below grade level greater than 8,000 square feet and the intermediate level and roof, each with nearly 11,000 square feet.

Full contract documents were prepared and administered for bidding.  Assistance during the bidding and award confirmed that the complete contract was fully understood to minimize change order work.  Work also included steel and concrete replacement and repair.  All work performed below fully occupied apartment building.
