MB Carpets & Flooring, LLC. contains a lot of history & in a sense, is an heirloom treasure.

Opening for business in 1959 Mr. D.W. Durham founded “Meadowbrook Flooring Covering, INC.” & operated the store for 14 years before deciding to retire in 1973.

As a family owned business, Mr. Durham sold his company to his lifelong friend, Mr. B.L Edgar, who took over & managed the business for another 3 years before officially selling the company to his daughter Kathleen Paynter.

As the latest owner to retire, Mrs. Kathleen Paynter followed in her fathers footsteps back in 1976, when she bought the existing family business & teamed up with Co-Owner Max LaDuke, a local Firefighter who helped run the store for the next 42 years out of Fort worth, Texas off of Lancaster AVE.

In 2015 LaDuke retired, leaving Kathleen as the sole owner of “Meadowbrook Flooring Covering, INC.” She then rebranded & abbreviated the company name to MB Carpets Inc.
She made the Big Move into the Mansfield area & carried on the legacy of a small business with BIG SERVICE. Priding herself in great customer service, attention to detail, & trustworthy knowledge on all Flooring products.

For over 45 years Mrs. Paynter has serviced the flooring needs of the DFW Area & has now proudly retired as of Dec. 2018. Passing down the family heir loom to a new family, a Brother & Sister Duo who have been running their own family installation service for over a decade.

The Ocampo family has been in the installation industry for over 25 years & know all things Flooring. as 2nd generation Flooring Pros, the brother/sister duo is now relaunching the company as “MB Carpets & Flooring, LLC” but keeping its core values & legacy of Small Business, BIG SERVICE!
