Scope Of Work
This 361,000 SF data center addition provided upgrades to existing infrastructure in order to meet a Tier 3-plus performance classification, as well as achieve a maximum 125 watts per square foot. The addition was built to house generators, switchgear and UPS equipment and expand whitespace to 68,000 SF raised access floor. Renovation within the existing building was mainly limited to reconstruction existing spaces and upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems. A fast track schedule included pouring foundations during winter and building work platforms to achieve dual work zones in critical spaces.
