Tucked away on a quiet side street  historic downtown Newport, this charming two-story building dates all  way back to 1766!  property is half residential, half retail,  Innovative Construction had  pleasure  bringing back all   faded beauty with a gentle restoration. With  bottom retail section   structure complete,  old exposed beams stand tall against  newly sheetrocked  painted interior walls.  hardwood floors were stripped, sanded and re-sealed to a glossy shine. All new electrical wiring was put in, running along  ceiling   exposed posts, which gives  historic building a touch  modern industrial style. Finally, a fresh coat  paint on  exterior welcomes tourists to this lovely little gem  a jewelry store. One final note about this property,  historic plaque to  right   front door reads, Built by Joshua Saunders for his daughter Freelove Remson 1766.
