Cadence McShane Construction completed the 98,724 square foot, LEED-Silver Patterson Elementary School located in Houston, Texas on behalf of Houston Independent School District.
Utilizing expert project management and schedule enhancements, Cadence McShane delivered the new school facility five months ahead of the planned construction schedule. The two-story elementary school includes 50 classrooms, library, kitchen, cafeteria and basketball pavilion and replaces an outdated 64,234 square foot, single-story facility that was originally constructed in 1958. Additionally, the firm completed all sitework and landscaping, as well as a surface parking lot featuring 94 spaces.
