Scope Of Work

Cadence McShane was selected to complete the 95,632 square foot expansion and renovation of Mitchell Elementary School in Dallas, Texas on behalf of Plano Independent School District (ISD).

The assignment included the renovation of 61,256 square feet and the new construction of 34,376 square feet featuring 42 new classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen and library. A new geothermal HVAC system was included as part of the assignment and serves as Plano ISD’s first project incorporating a geothermal system. Cadence McShane also reconfigured the sitework and parking areas to accommodate the new addition.
