Modesto, CA - Bronze Dedication Plaque for Stanislaus County
Recently, we were contacted by the Stanislaus Country office staff who work in Modesto, CA. They were looking to have a plaque created and after speaking with them we determined that a bronze dedication plaque was exactly what they needed. They agreed and we quickly got to work on their project.
As you can see in the image, this bronze dedication plaque features trees that serve as a backdrop to the beautiful poem the team had chosen. We went with a decorative shape for the outline and we were able to attach the new plaque directly to their existing concrete pillar. It is a truly beautiful work of art.
Stanislaus County has a motto. It’s “Striving Together to Be the Best” and when you see their priorities, Supporting Strong & Safe Neighborhoods, Supporting Community Health, Developing a Healthy Economy, Promoting First-Rate Learning, Delivering Efficient Public Service and Community Infrastructure, you can understand why.
For this project, we used a blind mount which produces a cleaner looking surface. We went with a sand background that had a random orb surface and was blind mounted with standard studs. We deep cast the edges of the plaque about 3-4 inches and used a 1315-Dark Oxide that was painted with a clear matte coat.
