City Signs

When we got to speak to the people at Unitek College, based in Sacramento, California, we took the time to listen to what they were looking for in a sign. As we worked with them, we determined that it was fitting to go with a wall-mounted sign. We knew this was the perfect choice to give them what they had envisioned, save valuable ground space, and allow for exterior illumination for their sign in the darker hours.

As the picture shows, the white faces were offset by the black aluminum letter returns and the white faces were finished with a vinyl overlay. The logo was constructed using a ¾” black trim cap. The finished product was smart-looking and professional; the perfect sign for Unitek College.

The Sacramento campus of Unitek college offers nursing, medical assisting, and dental programs. They are located on a beautiful campus near the American River. Plus, all programs can be completed in 12 months or fewer.

For the letters, we used 5” deep black aluminum letter returns. All letters spelling out UNITEK COLLEGE were printed to match with the translucent vinyl, PMS 631c. The letters were flush mounted to the exterior of the building and were mounted with a remote power supply. The white acrylic faces were illuminated with cost-effective LED bulbs.
