Stockton, CA- Waiting Room Signs Create a Lasting Impression with Dental Offices

March 2019

Working as a dentist, you know that it can very stressful on the patient because they are nervous. One way to calm your patient is with signage. Either in the waiting or in each exam room. Other signs that can also be helpful are informational signs.

Whether or not you are famed for your bedside manner, you can influence the way your patients feel before you even meet them. The moment they enter your building, you can comfort them and fill them with confidence by using thoughtful signage that emphasizes not only your branding but also your values.

Signage that will help with the flow of your office are signs that's help guide your patient to where they should go, and what they should be doing. Indicating waiting room areas, treatment/exam rooms are also very helpful.

It is useful to explain what they should expect with their visit, or what the process is for new patients.

You can also educate your visitors and promote desirable habits. While your visitors are waiting, they could be learning how to brush their teeth more effectively, or when, why, and how to floss?

You can also promote any services you provide that your visitors may not know of. Some services may include teeth whitening, braces/invisaline, or crownings. Your patients may not have known that you provide these services, so this may prompt them for your help with other things as well.

Take advantage of your waiting room by providing your visitors with information that is relevant to their needs. Giving them information on how you can help them, and educational information on how to keep their teeth nice and healthy will be beneficial to you and your visitors.

We have worked with Western Dental on many of their offices that they have . For this particular job we installed wall paper art onto each of their exam room walls at their Kids Western Dental located in Stockton, CA. These wall murals are on various walls within the office, such as the waiting room, exam rooms, and hallways. No matter where the children are, they are able to look at these images while they wait to be called to the back, or while they are being worked on. These prints of animals will be sure to calm the children who visit. Some of the wallpaper prints look like  a real life image making it fun and exciting, and less nervous or uncomfortable for the children who visit this dental office.

On the other hand, you may want to focus on creating the right atmosphere. In this case, in addition to highly-visible directional signage, you could include inspirational quotes, wall murals depicting peaceful scenes, or even visual testimonials from previous patients.

We have a team of designers that would love to help you bring your ideas to life or come up with a totally new design.
