Last week, we got a call from Jake Harless, who owns the State Farm Insurance office on Estelle Ave., in Riverbank, CA. He was looking for a new exterior sign, needed for the outside of their offices. Due to the fact they are located in a busy area, the new State Farm sign needed to be particularly eye-catching. After coming out to see their location, we recommended a channel letter set for their sign. It would do perfectly for the area picked out for their signage.

As you can see for yourself in the image, the channel letter set worked like a charm. Letters are all individually set and offer a white background which pushes the letter itself away from the facade of the building. The State Farm logo was included as well. There's no doubt that this is where the State Farm offices are located. No more telling people to look for landmarks.

To create the sign for the Harless Insurance Agency, we knew we needed just two words: STATE FARM. Each letter was made out of white acrylic faces with vinyl overlays. The backs of the letters were 5” deep aluminum letter returns, which were all painted white. The trim caps were cut to 3/4” white. The letters are all cut vinyl colors in PMS 485 Red and Translucent 3M Poppy Red. Within each letter was white LED illumination. The letters were flush-mounted to the exterior wall with a remote power supply. A disconnect switch was mounted to the letters. There was also a remote 30ma UL 2161 compliant transformers used.

When using a channel letter set, a very nice feature is the fact that the letters can be created in white acrylic faces with vinyl overlays and each letter can be painted to your choice of color. The white LED illumination makes your channel letter set sign visible over great distances. The translucent vinyl allows for the led illumination to shine through nicely.
