Scope Of Work
JESCO, Inc. was selected to build this new 221,000 square foot chicken processing facility and cold storage warehouse for Sanderson Farms in McComb, Mississippi. When completed, this facility was designed to process 18,750 birds per hour. The JESCO Mechanical-Electrical division was responsible for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for this facility. Mechanical systems included air conditioning for non-refrigerated and administrative areas. Electrical systems included refrigeration controls, waste treatment systems controls and complete equipment hook-up. Plumbing systems included hot water washdown, process piping, waste treatment piping and facilities.
