CTA Engineering & Surveying is a full service civil engineering, land surveying, and land planning firm located in Rancho Cordova, California. Cooper Thorne and Associates, Inc. was established in 1979. In 2005, Cooper Thorne and Associates, Inc. began doing business as CTA Engineering and Surveying. We are proud to have a team of people in place who are diligent, creative, and thoughtful in their approach to serving our client’s needs. We strike an appropriate balance between cost effective designs/value engineering and delivery of a final high quality product that our clients deserve and appreciate.

CTA provides civil engineering and surveying services on a wide variety of projects including residential, retail, commercial, right of way, and public works projects.  Our staff has extensive experience not only in delivering CTA’s services to our clients, but also in comprehensively managing projects from start to finish for a variety of project types. We manage a variety of consultants including biological, cultural resource, traffic, dry utility, and other specialty consultants on a regular basis and also provide construction management services.
