Scope Of Work
The medical center sits on a 65-acre site and features a three-story diagnostic and treatment wing, a five-story in-patient tower, and a four-story physician office building linked to one another by a concourse for patients and visitors. This facility includes two linear accelerators. Major services (including surgery, imaging, and cardiology) each have discrete entrances from the concourse. The DRMC features in-patient beds, surgery rooms, a newborn intensive-care facility, Intensive Care Unit, imaging unit that hosts two CAT scans and one MRI, administrative offices, chapel, dining area, and office space for 35 to 50 doctors. The center offers advanced emergency/trauma services as well as a Heart and Lung Center, where operations, including open-heart surgery, are performed. Landscape and facility designs for the medical campus showcases the natural beauty of the area with a trail system, desert gardens, and courtyards.
