Scope Of Work

5,000 s/f new construction pre-engineered steel building

Located just down the street from the easily recognizable First Mariner Bank building at Ruckerts Terminal in downtown Baltimore, this 5,000 square foot pre-engineered steel building serves as the new warehouse and office location for the Moran Towing Corporation.  This facility includes offices, workshop, and warehouse spaces, and an area for future expansion which will serve Moran well for many years to come.  Specialty items for this project included remote control gated security access, backup generators, and high voltage wiring for their pier operations.

As General Contractor, we worked closely with the engineer, architect, and owner in the design-build process.  Because we had worked on two previous projects at the former Fells Point location on Thames St., Stillwater took the lead in the design-build phase as we were more familiar with their specialized day to day operations.  We were able to provide Moran with exactly what they had requested and were also able to help through a trying time of their relocation within a short time frame under difficult circumstances.  This is all due to our project managing and skilled labor force.
