Scope Of Work
ICI completed the build-out on two existing retail stores into two new locations of the Trader Joe’s Grocery Store. The features of the 12,000 square foot stores include cedar siding throughout and new platform lifts for unloading products into the stores.
While managing the construction during the ten week schedule, ICI also coordinated all Owner purchased items, including refrigeration, fixtures, shelving units and last minute changes. Both projects were completed on-time for their well-publicized grand opening.
Trader Joe’s is a privately held company with more than 300 stores throughout the United States. The stores in Glen Ellyn and Downers Grove were part of Trader Joe’s expansion in the Midwest.
