Scope Of Work
ICI began its relationship with SUPERVALU in 2001 with multiple store renovation projects. Due to the success of these projects, ICI then has the opportunity to bid on new store construction projects.
After a competitive bidding process, ICI was awarded the construction of a new 55,102 square foot ground-up grocery store and 6 acres of site work for the Jewel-Osco in Downers Grove.
The new store includes a deli, market, produce, dairy, bakery, frozen foods, meat and seafood sections as well as a photo lab and pharmacy. The building’s exterior is brick and stone veneer. The final cost of construction was $6.3 million.
