Scope Of Work
The Garrett, the third building at The Collective, will have 375 luxury apartments in the rapidly growing Capitol Riverfront neighborhood. The thirteen story building will include a full-size basketball court, an outdoor singles tennis court, a fitness center with a spin room, an indoor green space, a 5,000 SF collaborative work center and 9000 SF of roof amenity space including a club room, party room and outdoor grills. In addition, residents will have access to all the amenities at Park Chelsea and Agora, the two other buildings in the Collective, which include indoor and outdoor pools, a Whole Foods Market, commercial-sized washer and dryer, a demonstration kitchen with a wood-burning pizza oven, ample garage parking, and outdoor and indoor meeting and lounging spaces. All three buildings will be LEED certified, with highly efficient appliances in the units and shared bike parking, a bike repair station, electric car charging stations and rooftop gardens. The loft style apartments at The Garrett will be done in a luxury rustic style with barn doors and open kitchen shelving. The Collective is a short walk to the Capitol, and just blocks from both the Navy Yard (Green Line) and Capitol South (blue and orange lines) Metro stations. The nearby I-695 freeway provides quick access to Virginia and Maryland. The Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city is home to over 50 restaurants and ten acres of world-class parks.
