Scope Of Work
As a result of CCC’s past performance as the design/builder of multiple fire stations throughout the Chicagoland region, several Fire Chiefs and Fire Protection District officials recommended CCC to Kurtz Memorial Chapel and Ambulance Service. At the time, CCC had completed eight fire stations for Districts that work closely with Kurtz.
In September 2006, Kurtz employed CCC as its design/builder for a new 11,000 s.f. memorial chapel in Frankfort, IL. This highly finished building includes multiple chapels, administrative offices, family meeting rooms, a child care center and a kitchen. Because of the inherent nature of Kurtz’s business, the building required the finishes and details necessary to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. The building includes hand finished oak trim, casing, crown molding and doors. The octagon shaped cupola entry includes a fountain and vaulted ceilings.
