Scope Of Work
The growing congregation of Mt. Hermon AME Church wanted space for a new assembly hall, small kitchen, classrooms and office space. The resulting $4 million building includes all of those features in a modern design, three story state-of-the art facility, across the street from the church.
D. Stephenson Construction was the general contractor for the project, which also included a precast wall system with stucco finish, while the walls inside are traditional framing and drywall. The Storefront system along the front of the building provides increased natural light and serves as identification of the building’s main entrance.
Other services include: associated site work, demolition, tree removal and relocation, and landscaping.
