Scope Of Work

For this install we were tasked with integrating a Commercial Fire system, Commercial Security system, Access control system, HD Camera system as well as installing audio speakers and integrating SONOS throughout the 20,000 sq ft daycare. 

This project is part of a much larger project that we are involved heavily with. It will eventually be an entire plaza including restaurant's and shopping. 

We worked one on one with our client and GC to complete this childcare center in a timely manner including passing a complete life safety inspection and getting them there occupancy for the building.

Fire System - 

Strobes and Horn strobes as well as speaker sounders as the system was also installed with a voice EVAC system per the city designer. The structure is sprinkled so we were responsible for monitoring a riser system as well as fire pit located about 100 feet from the building. 

Security System - 

We installed a complete security system, contacting all exterior doors and installed motion detectors and finally panic buttons located throughout the building. 

Camera System - 

We worked closely with Watch Me Grow as well as our client for this install. We ended up installing 22 HD cameras indoor and outdoor. Wiring and installing a server rack as well as hanging and wiring two camera displays for the client. 

Access Control - 

This was a simple two door install that consists of cutting in two door strike style locks that have momentary release switches at the front desk. Each button is allocated to either the left or right entry door and can be pushed to release the lock as for a teacher/parent to enter the hallways where you would find the classrooms. 

Intercom -

We installed an intercom system with the base located at the front desk of the building, that talks to 4 wall stations located around the exterior doors of the building. One either side for the play areas, one on the main entry and one located at the rear exit door. 

Phone System & Data - 

We installed a complete phone system within the building with on hold music, call forwarding and internal only calling. The system we used for this install was Mitel. 

There were data drops for printers, mini servers, tower computers and servers installed throughout the building as well.
