Scope Of Work
As a continued investment into the health and wellness of the community, the ThedaCare cancer center is an addition to the Encircle Health campus.
The regional cancer center is designed for the future and encompasses both radiation and medical oncology treatment for cancer patients including two linear accelerators, one cyber knife, one PET CT, one CT simulator and two high dose radiation (HDR) rooms. In addition to offering state of the art cancer care, there is a major focus centered around maximizing the patient experience by highlighting glass, wood and stone building materials to create a warm and welcoming feeling to patients and their families as they visit the center. The total area of the building is 84,000 sq. ft. The project schedule was extremely fast paced. Design kicked off in mid-December of 2014, construction was completed by December of 2015 and patients started to be seen in February.
