Scope Of Work
Construction on the Piedmont Intermediate Center was completed during the 2012-2013 school year. Utilizing innovative Lean construction techniques, Boldt compressed the project schedule from the typical 15 month duration to 12 months. The single-story intermediate school is 86,000 sq. ft. in size and is located on a 20-acre undisturbed site.
The building’s interior design features innovative use of curved and irregular surfaces. The exterior EIFS finish incorporates interesting design patterns as illustrated in the pictures above.
