Scope Of Work
Bishop Hill Phase II was a 75 MW wind farm. Boldt installed 50, 100 meter, 1.5 MW General Electric turbines and foundations. The scope also included turbine erections, civil work, electrical work including collection system, substation and tower wiring.
Sustainable Features
Boldt’s Construction Waste Management (CWM) program was implemented on this project. All materials that could be reused were gathered and sent to other projects. Iron and other recyclable materials were collected and recycled.
ILPD® and Lean
Boldt used the most sophisticated techniques in planning and organizing to monitor materials, equipment, personnel and other resources to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
