Scope Of Work

Texas State Technical College is currently in construction on a new campus in Fort Bend County. The site is 81 acres with frontage to Highway 59 in the city of Rosenberg. The overall campus will be for a student population of 5,000 students, with a total of six (6) buildings, which will be constructed as the campus enrollment grows. The function of each new building will be scoped per the enrollment growth of each department. All of the buildings on the campus will have a common aesthetic theme in their design so that they correspond with one another and give a unity to the campus. Academic programs to be housed in Building #2 will include Instrumentation, Robotics, Electrical Power and Control, Construction Technologies, and Occupational Safety and Environmental Compliance. In addition, there will be a number of administrative functions housed in the new building, including Student Services, Student Development, Counseling and Testing, Administrative and Staff/Faculty offices, a Learning Resource Center, and possibly a student lounge and bookstore with a small dining/vending area.
