Powers & Sons a Joint Venture Partner were selected as the Construction Manager for the addition renovation to Lake Central High School. A three-story, 254,400 square foot wing was added which includes new classrooms a vocational department. Also, an 80,100 square foot natatorium was constructed. The existing pool parts of the existing academic area were demolished in phases. This allowed space for a new 120,800 square foot athletics gymnasium, 112,100 square foot auditorium, media center to be constructed. Lake Central High School now has 835,400 square feet of new renovated state of the art facilities. Outside athletic facilities were also improved including a new football field, track, grandstand, baseball fields, and parking lot. The project was completed in Spring 2016.
